As has been advertised...snow showers and scattered snow squalls will continue across the North Country this afternoon and tonight.
There are two "bands" of activity
Band #1 - A lake effect snow band that doesn't show up very well, but has brought heavy snow showers at times across portions of south-central Vermont...especially along the mountains.
Band #2 - Organized snow showers and snow squalls associated with an approaching arctic front that will move from along the Canadian border through central and southern Vermont through tonight.
The timing of this Band #2 will be across northern NY and northern VT between NOW and 3 pm then shift into central/lower Champlain Valley as well as central Vermont between 3 and 6 pm before shifting further south across south central Vermont tonight.
